Dr. V Sunglasses - The World’s First Anti-Pigmentation UV400 Sunglasses.

With their signature oversized design, they can help protect the skin around the eyes, upper cheekbones and temples from UV damage & hyperpigmentation.

Lens: UV400, non-polarized

> Crystal clear vision with the highest quality UV400 lens available.

> 100% UV block of the eye area, cheekbones and temples.

> Flattering wrap-around curves make them easy to wear and style.

> Dimensions: Front Lens = 14.5cm width x 6.5cm height

> From Jan 2021: the new model varies slightly from fashion model photo's shown - sports nose bridge holder replaces the old nose pads, for enhanced fit and comfort.

All nose pads / holders may cause temporary indentations on the bridge of the nose, which varies by person.

Only one size available.

To know if this item is likely to fit you, PLEASE MEASURE: from front/top of ear to ear, across the eyes and bridge of the nose. These glasses will fit most people who measure 27cm+ in this direction.

These glasses are unlikely to fit people with smaller faces or flatter noses, so please purchase at your discretion.

NOTE: you may find these glasses heavier than your average sunglasses due to their size, and they are likely to make temporary indentations on the nose like all other glasses.

By blocking 100% of UV to the peri-orbital area, cheekbones and temples, melanocyte activity will reduce. In some early cases of melasma, a reversal is possible.

> 70+% of melasma starts on the cheekbones due to UV damage.

> 80-90% of the cause of premature skin aging is also UV.

> The main cause for dark circles appearing worse with age is UV triggering the melanocytes, and the thinning of skin around the eyes.

With a PHYSICAL SUN SHIELD, you know your areas most vulnerable to developing pigmentation are fully protected, unlike with normal sunglasses

Best Anti-glare & Stylish Sunglasses

I found that these sunglasses are the best in protecting my eyes against glare; my eyes feel soothed behind these lenses. I feel more relaxed wearing them when I am driving, knowing that the melasma prone areas of my face are shielded from UV. Friends commented that I looked stylish wearing them. I purchased the black colour. I have a wide face (measuring 31-32cm from front/top of ear to ear, across the eyes and bridge of the nose, as per instructions in the Size Guide), and found that 14.5cm front lens width is a little tight for me, an extra 5mm would be perfect for me. They can feel heavy if you wear them for a long time. I still give 5 stars because these are the best sunglasses for preventing melasma and protecting our eyes, and I really enjoy using them.

Sun glasses

I love my new sun glasses also the color is beautiful, I feel fully protected and relaxed knowing my hyperpigmentation will not worsen in the sun. The only negative is that the sun glasses will leave red marks on the rim of my nose.

Major difference in Pigmentation

I live in the Uae, and the climate is very warm and sunny here. I have tried so many treatments for pigmentation, these glasses seem to have made the biggest difference. The only downside is that d you wear them for long hours, your ears might hurt a little, since they are big glasses

Jacklyn Warner (The Bronx, US)

This eye wear is functional with a bit of flare. One note of contention was the heaviness on the nose bridge.
