Damaged Skin Barrier

Damaged Skin Barrier happens due to over-stripping of the top layer of skin (epidermis), usually from over-exfoliation, over-use of Vitamin A or harsh weather conditions. The skin generally feels dry, flakey, sensitive and may appear red. The key actives required to rebuild the skin barrier: humectants, ceramides, anti-inflammatories, gentle surfactants and zinc oxide. Therefore, we recommend the following routine for at least 4-6 weeks:

 AM Routine
 PM routine
1. Micellar Gel Wash
1. Micellar Gel Wash
2. Cera Pep
2. Cera Pep
3. Inzincable SPF50
3. Calm Balm

NOTE: Collagen Boost can be taken AM or PM. If skin is very dry, use face wash once per day only.

PLEASE READ THE FULL GUIDELINES FOR EACH PRODUCT. WHEN STARTING A NEW ROUTINE, PATCH TEST IN A DISCREET AREA AND BUILD UP USAGE GRADUALLY OVER 2-3 WEEKS, ADDING A NEW PRODUCT EVERY 2-3 DAYS SO THE SKIN ADJUSTS.

The daily range is the best!

VALERIE M (TX, USA):
"After consistent use of the face wash and moisturizer, I can see a noticeable difference in the shine control and PH balance which I needed for my combination skin. I can also see that my tone is less dull and believe the brightening effects of both products have put color back into my face. It looks more youthful, my cheeks are rosier, and overall, I think it looks healthier. Thank you Dr. V for creating products for skin of color! "
